About the role

  • Vice President, Loyalty Technology Leader driving strategic vision for Synchrony’s loyalty capabilities. Leading a diverse team to enhance customer engagement and loyalty technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and strategic vision for loyalty systems and capabilities.
  • Define and execute a transformative loyalty roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture that motivates and retains talent.
  • Collaborate with the Loyalty Center of Excellence to co-create and execute vision.
  • Deliver critical files, APIs, and integrations to support end-to-end connectivity of loyalty solutions.
  • Drive measurable business outcomes through innovative loyalty technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, or high school diploma/GED with at least 15 years of IT experience.
  • At least 5 years of loyalty-specific experience, preferably from management consulting or outsourced application development.
  • Minimum 10 years managing large, direct and matrixed teams demonstrating strong leadership abilities.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the payments industry or closely related financial services environment.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
