About the role
- Solution Train Engineer facilitating Information Security Agile Release Train processes for delivering solutions. Coaching teams while overseeing Program Increment sessions and managing risks and delivery flow.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Information Security Agile Release Train and Solution Train processes
- Escalate impediments and manage risk while ensuring value delivery
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindset
- Configure SAFe to organization’s needs and standardize best practices
- Oversee all Program Increment (PI) sessions, SI Escalation meetings, and MVP releases
- Manage and optimize the flow of value across the ART and Solution Train
- Establish and communicate annual cadence for Iterations and Program Increments
- Facilitate PI Planning readiness and execution
- Track execution of features and capabilities
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and impediments
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and the Agile PMO to ensure alignment
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Foster Communities of Practice and use of Built-In Quality practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 8 years of IT experience or in lieu of degree High School diploma/GED and 9 years of IT experience
- Minimum of 8 years of IT project management experience in financial services or banking industry
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with project management methodology (Waterfall, Agile) and all phases of SDLC.
- Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
