About the role
- General Manager leading PayPal branded credit products and managing client relationships. Overseeing performance of co-brand cards and driving growth within defined risk parameters for portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing all aspects of the Client relationship and portfolio performance for the PayPal co-brand cards as well as PayPal Credit
- Developing and managing strategic action plans to achieve performance targets within defined risk parameters
- Leading the cross-functional client team in supporting the client as well as achieving key deliverables
- Understanding and delivering key client metrics
- Driving overall portfolio financial performance as well as key growth metrics
- Providing leadership to ensure adherence with all external and internal Compliance and Regulatory requirements
- Developing and maintaining excellent working relationship with the client and all key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 15 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 10 years of credit card portfolio management experience at a senior level
- Deep and broad knowledge/ understanding of multiple business models and business/ financial strategies across a range of geographies and business sectors
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Client relationship building and client management skills
- Proven knowledge of external Regulatory and Compliance Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years experience influencing internal and external senior corporate decision-makers
- Minimum of 7 years negotiation and contract management experience
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time
