About the role
- Konzerncontroller focusing on financial controlling for Stadtwerke Potsdam. Developing financing concepts and providing strategic financial advice in a municipal utility environment.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of financing concepts for projects in local public transport (ÖPNV), energy and infrastructure.
- Strategic financial advisory on capital structure, liquidity planning and long-term corporate financing.
- Analysis of cash flows and ensuring risk management.
- Evaluation of investments and equity participations to derive recommendations for group strategy.
- Preparation of insightful financial analyses, decision papers and presentations for management and committees.
- Optimization of finance and controlling processes.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, finance or accounting.
- Several years of experience in financial controlling (preferably in a group/corporate environment), corporate finance and consolidation.
- Very good knowledge of financing instruments such as loans, leasing, grants/subsidies or capital market products.
- Experience with consolidation software (e.g. LucaNet) and SAP FI/CO.
- Solid knowledge of commercial and corporate law as well as balance sheet analysis.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- Negotiation skills, initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Very good German language skills and experience working with BI tools.
