About the role

  • Manager for IT Service Management ensuring IT service delivery at data center company. Responsible for ITIL processes and service improvement initiatives in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve IT Service Management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.
  • Establish and enforce ITIL-aligned standards and operating procedures across the enterprise.
  • Support and facilitate the Change Advisory Board, ensuring changes are reviewed, approved, and implemented with appropriate risk controls.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, inventory, compliance, audits, and retirement.
  • Define and maintain ITSM policies, procedures, and documentation to support a scalable and audit-ready environment.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide clear insight into service performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and Helpdesk teams to align service delivery and resolve systemic issues.
  • Lead and develop ITSM team members, setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
  • Identify process gaps, lead root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
  • Balance operational priorities with longer-term service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing IT service delivery in a complex or hybrid environment.
  • Hands-on experience owning ITSM processes and driving adoption across teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL frameworks, with practical implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise change control and asset management programs.
  • Ability to design metrics, analyze trends, and translate data into action.
  • Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
  • Proven ability to partner with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic direction with day-to-day execution.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent process or project management credentials are preferred.
