About the role
- Group Controller managing financial reporting for 2-3 production facilities in Switzerland. Collaborating with production controllers and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Analysis of monthly results for 2–3 production sites
- Review of the integrity and plausibility of planning for 2–3 production sites
- Alignment with corporate strategy
- Controlling of Capex projects (involvement in the approval process and verification of realized profitability), cyclical monitoring at group level
- Identification and tracking of cost and revenue potential
- Application support (content-focused) for reporting and planning tools in operational business (colleagues at production sites, corporate functions, etc.)
- Specialization and support of corporate functions in one of the following areas: I. Sales: end-customer market and product features; sales chain, sales organization and logistical execution II. Production: production performance and use of components; quality and efficiency (OEE) III. Purchasing: supply chains, purchasing organization and logistical execution; ad-hoc analyses across all business areas
Requirements
- Degree in economics or business administration (university, University of Applied Sciences/FH, Bachelor)
- 7–10 years of experience in industrial controlling
- Experience as a plant controller, regional controller or in a comparable role within a manufacturing company
- General experience in controlling and finance (closing process) required
- SAP knowledge (R/3 or S/4, FI/CO modules) is a must
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (SAP AfO [Analysis for Office], SAP BEx or comparable)
- General technical understanding and interest in production process interrelationships
- International experience is an advantage
- Willingness to take on responsibility and to lead project teams
- German and English skills at level B2 or higher
