About the role

  • Program Manager responsible for Sutter Health’s Inclusion & Belonging program portfolio, with emphasis on scalability and compliance. Managing SERGs and IB initiatives with operational oversight and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the senior individual contributor responsible for end-to-end ownership of Sutter Health’s Inclusion & Belonging (IB) program portfolio,
  • Provides operational leadership without people management, exercising authority through program governance, financial stewardship, platform ownership, analytics, and executive level reporting.
  • Ensures IB programs are scalable, compliant, data driven, and strategically aligned, moving the function beyond coordination into mature program management.

Requirements

  • 8 years recent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of belonging and inclusion issues and best practices.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence others by persuasion, negotiation, and problem solving to achieve desired outcome.
  • Organization skills to effectively manage and/or re-prioritize activities and projects to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.
  • Displays integrity and ethics in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates a personal and professional presence when interacting with executives, management leaders, and community and external organization leaders.
  • Ability to manage projects, develop plans to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles, and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborative working style to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various project participants and/or stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
  • Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.
