Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions for use-cases within SUSE's Edge infrastructure platform
- Develop and debug complex systems spanning multiple projects and upstream communities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology roadmaps with business requirements
- Participate in evaluating new technologies and innovations for integration into the architecture
- Contribute to open-source communities relevant to Edge and telco infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and networking components
Requirements
- Experience in edge infrastructure and workloads
- Strong understanding of networking technologies, including NFV and network acceleration techniques
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Golang, Cluster API and related projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Broad experience with Linux operating system development and performance tuning
- History of successful contributions to large-scale software projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience
- Experience with open-source software development and community engagement.
