About the role
- Junior Project Manager providing operational support for the construction department. Coordinating with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Provide managerial oversight for construction projects
- Assist in pre-construction services such as estimating, project planning, professional reporting, cost updating, and cost reporting
- Build rapport and trust consistently with various parties including trade partners, governing entities, and property level team members
- Create, update, and maintain schedule of projects, tasks, and associated duties regularly including PSR (Project Status Report)
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience is required
- Must have one to three (1-3) years of progressive construction industry experience preferably in a Project Administrator or Project Engineer function
- Must have pricing knowledge as it relates to project plans, budgets, and costs
- Must have a working proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must have excellent presentation, facilitation, and general computer skills
- Must demonstrate proactive and self-sufficient characteristics on a consistent basis
