About the role
- Infrastructure Project Manager leading IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects at Consort Group. Coordinating diverse IT projects within a large organization in Brussels region.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure and cybersecurity projects (IAM, network segmentation, workstation hardening, proxy upgrades, SOC processes)
- Coordinate infrastructure deployment for business projects (application hosting, VPN, connectivity)
- Manage cloud and infrastructure evolution projects (Office 365, SharePoint Online, data center migration)
- Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure technical feasibility
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors
- Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools
- Manage risks and define mitigation actions
- Report project status and escalate when necessary
- Prepare and lead steering committees
- Maintain project documentation and ensure a smooth handover to operations
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in technical project management within large IT organizations
- Previous experience as a systems engineer
- Experience managing large, complex infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to adapt communication to different audiences (technical and management)
- Client-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to synthesize information and provide high-level overviews
- Proactive approach with risk mitigation mindset
- Ability to foster collaboration across teams and partners
