About the role

  • Wealth Consultant supporting regional Managers and Advisors with Wealth and Dealer processes. Ensuring high client satisfaction and sales objectives through expert guidance and training.

Responsibilities

  • Support Regions, Managers, and Advisors with comprehensive, timely, and expert Wealth and Dealer support;
  • Support the growth of Wealth business in the region
  • Build capability and expertise among Advisors on Dealer process, Wealth processes, tools, and systems, providing expert guidance and technical expertise
  • Ensure Advisors, other field-based relationships, and sales roles are equipped with technical expertise on Dealer and Wealth solutions (mutual funds, registered plans, regulatory requirements, trade execution, and portfolio maintenance)
  • Build capability and awareness of key Wealth areas to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and sales objectives are met and exceeded in the Region
  • Work with partners in Dealer and training specialists teams in a region to ensure learning programs for Advisors are comprehensive and up to date on Wealth Management and Dealer practices
  • Equip Advisors with timely, accurate, and relevant information and materials on Wealth products; Communicate capabilities and service offerings building relationships with Advisors and Managers through sales presentations
  • Build and continually extend advisor capability and knowledge of Wealth products
  • Lead onboarding of new Advisors with respect to Dealer and Wealth practices
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert for group training activities

Requirements

  • University degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience, in the investment management industry, wealth products, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience includes coaching, consultation, wealth product development, sales in financial services, and relationship management
  • Expertise in mutual funds, registered plans, relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Expertise in Dealer processes: trade management, systems and technologies, reporting, and administration
  • Business acumen; including an understanding of sales and client relationship techniques
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work in a matrix environment
