The Summit Church is a multi-campus Christian church and digital ministry offering worship services, discipleship programs, community ministries, events, and online resources. The organization provides mobile apps, livestreamed and past messages, small groups, youth and children's ministries, counseling, foster care/adoption support, mission trips, and donation/giving options. It emphasizes community, spiritual growth, and outreach with multiple campus locations and tools for members to log in, track discipleship, and engage with ministry content. The Summit Church also hosts events, podcasts, and educational resources and supports volunteer and serving opportunities across local and global initiatives.

• Create an exciting environment on the weekend for kids to be discipled.
• Organizing and communicating to the volunteers so that there are the proper number of trained and qualified leaders in each classroom.
• Ensuring volunteers have everything they need in order to have a successful weekend as defined in the Summit Kids EPOD.
• Creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests and families.
• Executing the mission and vision of Summit Kids at the Brier Creek Campus.
• Recruiting new volunteers on a consistent basis.
• Training the volunteers on a consistent basis for their task in the kids' ministry so that they are well equipped.
• Leading the volunteers in love and appreciation so burnout is avoided.
• Build a group of committed Team Leaders.
• Build relationships with the families who bring their children to Summit Kids.
• Be a part of helping new families find a home at Summit through relationships, small groups, serving, membership, etc.
• Be a first responder to parents with questions about anything in Summit Kids.
• Lead the partnership with families by pursuing Milestone Events (Parent Commissioning, Gospel & Baptism Class, Family Mission Trips).
• Deal with difficult discipline and/or care cases in classrooms.
• Equip & resource your parents to be the primary disciplers of their kids.
• Attend weekly campus staff meetings & monthly All-Staff meetings.
• Attend bi-weekly Summit Kids staff meetings.
• Help to follow up with First Time Guests.
• Serve at large events in Summit Kids (Christmas Services, VBS, Kids Camp, All-Campus Prayer Nights, etc.)

Kids Director

Director overseeing all aspects of children's ministry at the Brier Creek Campus for Summit Church. Building volunteer teams and creating an engaging environment for families and children.

Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant supporting the Blue Ridge campus of The Summit Church with operational and logistical needs. Provide administrative support to the Campus Pastor and coordinate campus communications.

• Facilitate member participation in local outreach
• Identify a need in the community you feel called to as a campus through discussion with your staff, elders, and the help of the Local Outreach Team.
• Plan 2-3 opportunities to get your campus engaged in that need.
• Use this opportunity to disciple our people and model for them living out the gospel.
• Know and serve the people at your campus who are engaged in serving the community.
• Know how to care for and support those in need or crisis in your campus/community
• Facilitate member participation in international missions
• Coordinate with Sending to schedule 2-3 trips (minimum) per year
• Ensure teams are following guidelines on scheduling, deadlines, policies, and training.
• Cooperate with the sending team to develop and shepherd interest in long-term missions
• Work with the sending team to identify and assess long-term missionary candidates

Associate Campus Director, Sending

Associate Campus Director of Sending tasked with administration and engagement in outreach at Blue Ridge Campus. Collaborating with staff and community to fulfill mission.

• Support the Campus Pastor
• Partner with and assist the Campus Pastor in both guiding and guarding the mission and vision of The Summit Church within the context of the Blue Ridge Campus
• Represent the Campus Pastor as needed and/or in his absence
• Provides guidance, support and crisis care to attendees as needed
• Supports, encourages and collaborates with the Blue Ridge Campus staff
• Partners with the Elders to implement the Summit Church small group vision
• Own the recruitment of new small group leaders
• Seek to connect people at the Blue Ridge Campus to small groups
• Organize GroupLink and determine efficiencies and methods of small group member recruiting
• Assess Blue Ridge small group ministry
• Attend Monthly Central Support Small Group meeting and All Staff meeting
• Lead, teach, or facilitate quarterly New Member Classes
• Oversee assimilation for people interested in getting baptized and/or joining the church
• Coordinate all baptisms, including all-call weekends
• Recruit and train baptism counselors and help with logistics on baptism weekends
• Work with the Women’s and Men’s Discipleship coordinators to establish an overarching strategy to engage adult men and women in spiritual growth and discipleship
• Assist with leading and coaching both Men’s and Women’s Discipleship Coordinators
• Serve at church-wide events such as Easter services, church-wide prayer meetings, Good Friday service, and Christmas services

• Oversees recruitment of new small group leaders and plants new groups
