About the role

  • Senior Administrator providing administrative support to Fire Control Room in Suffolk. Liaising with staff and leaders for effective communication and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • providing administrative support to the Fire Control Room
  • maintaining a working knowledge of all areas supported by the Business Support Team
  • liaising with staff and senior leaders across the Fire and Rescue Service
  • answering non-emergency calls promptly and handling enquiries efficiently and professionally

Requirements

  • recent experience coordinating a range of administrative duties
  • a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint
  • strong communication skills
  • comfort working collaboratively as part of a team
  • ability to work independently when required
