Responsibilities
Responsible for customer service and examiner work for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Conduct road and CDL written examinations.
Process registrations, license renewals, new licenses, duplicates, non-driver identifications, and proper calculation and collection of fees.
Work will take place within DMV offices.
Requirements
Two (2) or more years of work experience in a customer or client service role such as retail, hospitality or government that included significant public contact and regular use of computer programs.
Four (4) or more months of work experience in the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles in licensing or registration meeting proficiency standards set by the Department.
Serve customers promptly and efficiently while maintaining the minimum production level of 3+ transactions per hour with a 1% or less error rate.
Proficient in license or registration.
Proficient in 2 or more of the job duties referenced on the matrix for a minimum of 4 months showing proficiency.
