About the role

  • Manager, Upstream Marketing responsible for managing enabling technologies for Shoulder Arthroplasty. Collaborating with teams to drive innovation and improve clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and leverage diverse networks for staying informed about competition
  • Understand market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition to key stakeholders
  • Surface new or unexpressed customer needs
  • Identify new customer groups and tailor marketing strategies
  • Prepare and deliver program updates to Upper Extremities leadership team
  • Drive collaboration with global marketing teams
  • Lead the NPI process from start to finish
  • Demonstrate ability of sales forecasting methods and tools
  • Create Project Charters, CERs, and Business Case Financial Models
  • Develop personal relationships with surgeon key opinion leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of work experience
  • Medical device marketing or sales experience
  • New product development experience
  • Partner or collaborating with R&D and other cross-functional businesses
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with executive-level presentations
  • Experience building compelling presentations and dashboards
  • Business Case Financial Models
