Field Service Engineer repairing Stryker's electronic/mechanical products primarily in Dublin and Northern Ireland. Responsible for maintenance, documentation, and customer interactions in the healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker products
Complete annual check and calibration according to MDR on customer site
Utilize software and technological tools to maintain proper records, access technical information
Assist the regulatory affairs department / customer to action product recalls, field safety notices and field action notices
Fulfil Service contracts with planned maintenances
Delivery of technical Training to internal & external
Perform Installation of Stryker systems on customer site
Perform Software & Hardware Upgrades
Efficient and thorough documentation of service activities for internal and external reference
Ensure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools
Provide technical support to Internal and external customers
Escalade opportunities and issues appropriate team meetings
Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer-initiated issues
Ensure service provided is invoiced if not under warranty
Scheduling of Customer visits in cooperation with Customer service
Build relationship with internal & external customers to drive brand loyalty
Requirements
Level 8 Degree in engineering medical electronics and camera technology OR relevant experience, at least one of the following: Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Mechanical / Software / Medical Physics / Technology Subjects
Experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills
Experience in the hospital environment and health care work (preferred)
