About the role
- Field Service Technician repairing lift trucks for Crown Equipment Corporation. Performing planned maintenance and ensuring customer lift trucks are operational and safe.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all makes of lift trucks
- Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks
- Maintain a service van and its inventory
- Process paperwork after completion of each job
Requirements
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Technical degree and previous lift truck repair experience preferred
- Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment
- Industry related training is preferred
