About the role
- Field Service Technician III providing maintenance and technical support for aerospace systems. Installing, operating, and updating equipment at field locations while building customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
- responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products
- updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment
- build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide onsite training
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
- Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
- Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US
- Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules
- Ability to obtain a current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment
