About the role

  • Legal Assistant supporting corporate legal department with contract management and document preparation. Collaborating with internal teams adhering to financial and administrative routines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the drafting, review, organization and management of routine contracts and legal documents.
  • Draft, review and negotiate low-complexity contracts, as well as contract addenda, confidentiality agreements (NDAs) and termination agreements, under the supervision of attorneys.
  • Monitor the full contract lifecycle, including deadline tracking, distribution for signature, filing and term management.
  • Prepare, review and control powers of attorney (public and private), sub-delegations and revocations, under attorney supervision.
  • Control expenses and payments related to the legal area, with an understanding of financial flow and monitoring of disbursements.
  • Prepare periodic management reports with department indicators (expenses, contracts, deadlines, volumes and KPIs).
  • Keep databases, systems and control spreadsheets for legal and financial matters up to date.
  • Work collaboratively with internal areas such as Finance, Compliance and Operations to ensure alignment of processes and deadlines.
  • Support strategic projects of the legal department.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate law student or recent law graduate.
  • Previous experience with contracts (drafting, analysis, monitoring or management).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organized profile with attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and multiple demands.
  • Previous experience in an in-house legal department or structured corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, contract approval workflows and payment control tools.
  • Basic English, with the ability to read and communicate in a corporate environment.
  • Proactivity and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good written and verbal communication with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize in environments with a high volume of information.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on quality, consistency and continuous improvement.
