About the role

  • LiveOps Manager needed at Goodgame Studios to optimize monetization strategies and engage players. Collaborate across teams to enhance player experiences in free-to-play games.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute multi-channel CRM campaigns to drive player engagement and support monetization goals.
  • Coordinate with the wider Product team to translate in-game events and promotions into engaging social storytelling across platforms like Discord, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Develop channel-appropriate copy and creative briefs that align with the brand voice, ensuring a seamless experience from a social post to an in-game purchase.
  • Support in the planning and scheduling of LiveOps measures, ensuring that the "what" (the offer or event) matches the "how" (the communication).
  • Monitor performance metrics and community sentiment to refine communication strategies and identify emerging trends.
  • Work closely with the Product and Data Analytics teams to ensure monetization efforts and CRM campaigns feel like a natural part of the player journey.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in games, especially free-to-play titles, live events and online communities.
  • Confident written and spoken English and a feel for tone of voice (humorous, clear, community-friendly).
  • Organized, reliable, and proactive - able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visuals and short-form formats.
  • Comfortable working with basic analytics and reporting (e.g. platform insights, Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Familiarity with LiveOps game dynamics, including monetisation strategies, in-game economies and player behaviour.
  • Familiarity with Goodgame Empire and Empire Four Kingdoms products.
  • Basic Canva & HTML5 skills.
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks, learning and sharing the lessons learned.
