About the role
- Operations Manager leading strategic initiatives to improve student experience at Stepful, an edtech company. Overseeing and optimizing operations while motivating a team dedicated to student success.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve a large portion of the student journey from learning to job placement.
- Design and implement experiments to improve student retention, learning, and placement outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scale.
- Optimize operations and metrics tracking for a growing team of student experience professionals, including coaches, instructors, and placement coordinators.
- Own end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, scoping product features, and hiring student experience professionals.
- Own and achieve the student success metrics, including learning outcomes, certification, placement, and satisfaction rates.
- Work cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students’ and student experience professionals’ feedback to help inform their product roadmaps.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environment.
- You are highly analytical, can optimize metrics, and successfully develop action plans to meet business goals.
- You can own both strategy & execution
- You can motivate a team to support a large number of students
- You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully
- You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
- You learn quickly through experimentation
- You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
