About the role

  • IT Administrator managing client networks and Windows infrastructures at STEP with a focus on customer service and IT solutions. Collaborating on complex IT projects and maintaining security components in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our clients in consulting, planning and implementing complex network projects
  • Administering and configuring Windows IT infrastructures
  • Troubleshooting and analyzing issues in clients' IT infrastructures, and carrying out complex IT projects for our clients
  • Configuring and maintaining IT security components
  • Analyzing and resolving incidents at 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Virtualizing server environments using VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Administration of current Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11) and Microsoft 365
  • Network administration (routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, certificates, monitoring)
  • Administration of Office 365 server applications, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

Requirements

  • You have completed vocational training or a degree in an IT-related field, or, as a career changer, you have several years of practical IT experience
  • You possess broad general IT knowledge and a very good technical understanding
  • In addition to enjoying challenges, you have a strong customer-centric mindset
  • Friendly and professional demeanor both externally and internally
  • You work efficiently and reliably
