About the role
- Configuration Management Analyst managing CMDB at Stefanini, ensuring data integrity and compliance throughout asset lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Ensure the integrity, consistency and currency of configuration data across the lifecycle of assets and services.
- Define and manage policies, processes and procedures for configuration and IT asset control.
- Coordinate periodic audits to validate the accuracy of records in the CMDB.
- Collaborate with Change, Incident and Problem Management teams, ensuring documentation and traceability.
- Support IT governance by providing accurate information for strategic decisions.
- Train and guide teams on configuration management best practices.
- Use ITSM tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, CMDBuild, among others) to manage configurations.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations, such as ISO 20000 and COBIT.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience implementing and maintaining a CMDB.
- Experience with Configuration Management processes and integration with Change, Incident and Problem areas.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, CMDBuild).
- Participation in audits and IT governance projects.
- Knowledge of ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, CMDBuild).
- Organized, detail-oriented, strong analytical skills and good communication.
- Desired certifications: ITIL Foundation (preferred), ISO 20000 or COBIT (plus).
