Responsibilities
Prepare plan drawings using Civil 3D.
Participate with the project team in the design of plans, preparation of specifications, studies, meetings, etc.
Prepare quantity estimates (quantity takeoffs).
When required, perform site supervision/inspections to ensure work conforms to plans and specifications.
Produce detailed and photographic reports of site activities.
Coordinate between the various technical stakeholders (designer and laboratory).
Compile and reconcile quantities with the contractor.
Produce deficiency/punch lists.
Requirements
College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in urban infrastructure. Experience in engineering consulting is an asset.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTURN and the MS Office suite.
General construction site health and safety certification (ASP).
Recognized by peers for organization and quality workmanship, strong ability to learn, teamwork skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
