About the role

Responsibilities
- Prepare plan drawings using Civil 3D.
- Participate with the project team in the design of plans, preparation of specifications, studies, meetings, etc.
- Prepare quantity estimates (quantity takeoffs).
- When required, perform site supervision/inspections to ensure work conforms to plans and specifications.
- Produce detailed and photographic reports of site activities.
- Coordinate between the various technical stakeholders (designer and laboratory).
- Compile and reconcile quantities with the contractor.
- Produce deficiency/punch lists.
Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in urban infrastructure. Experience in engineering consulting is an asset.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTURN and the MS Office suite.
- General construction site health and safety certification (ASP).
- Recognized by peers for organization and quality workmanship, strong ability to learn, teamwork skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
