Responsibilities

- Project management for coastal projects, including scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Participate and eventually lead proposal efforts for coastal engineering projects.
- Contribute to business development efforts in coastal engineering and planning.
- Establish connections to coastal clients and develop relationships.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee coastal engineering work.
- Develop coastal adaptation plans and engineering designs.
Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Civil, Coastal, Environmental Engineering, Planning, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
- OR Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience in the relevant fields.
- High level of understanding coastal engineering principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in client engagement and business development in SF Bay area.
- Strong understanding of coastal regulatory landscape in SF Bay.
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California.
- Strong project management experience and established client relationships in SF Bay area.
