About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing automation projects for a dynamic company in Lyon. Responsible for managing technical staff, client discussions, and project delivery from concept to support.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage projects independently, both technically and commercially
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating specialist technical staff
  • Actively participate in discussions with industrial clients to build long-term relationships
  • Co-responsible for developing innovations and introducing them to new and existing customers
  • Deliver automation projects from concept and planning through commissioning and customer support

Requirements

  • Proven experience with common automation systems (e.g., Siemens PCS7/WinCC/TIA, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Honeywell Experion PKS)
  • Project experience in automation, ideally with project management experience and/or team leadership responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Interest in developing technical solutions in automation
  • High level of commitment, willingness to learn, adaptability and a high degree of autonomy
  • Degree-level education (equivalent to BAC+3/5)
  • At least 5 years’ operational experience in project management within automation and/or industrial IT, or equivalent
  • Experience in process industries preferred
