About the role

Product Platforms Design Owner focused on delivering technology-enabled solutions to optimize equity indices platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and user-centered design.

Responsibilities

Deliver user-centered, technology-enabled solutions that optimize how equity indices platforms are designed, maintained, and distributed.
Work within an Agile team to translate strategy and user insights into actionable product features that drive measurable efficiency and business value.
Apply flow-based design thinking to create seamless, intuitive user experiences across the equity index lifecycle.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog for equity index platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy, compliance standards, and operational needs.
Write clear, testable user stories that support Agile sprint planning and delivery.
Partner with developers, designers, and other Product Owners across Value Streams to manage dependencies and ensure consistent delivery.
Use structured feedback loops and customer advocacy to influence roadmap direction and drive continuous improvement.
Lead product demos, contribute to MVP planning, and support training and feature rollouts to maximize value realization.

Experience in product management or product ownership within an Agile and scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.
Ability to translate complex user and business requirements into actionable backlog items and deliverables.
Strong collaboration and facilitation skills to align stakeholders across Product, Technology, and Index Operations.
Data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making, balancing user value with technical feasibility.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and influence outcomes across teams.
Demonstrated curiosity and empathy in engaging with users to uncover insights and improve product usability.
Understanding of equity markets, index operations, or financial data workflows, with the ability to connect business needs to product platform solutions (preferred).
Experience supporting equity index design, calculation, or distribution platforms (preferred).
Familiarity with data integrations, workflow automation, or index lifecycle tooling (preferred).
Exposure to financial technology platforms or cloud-based enterprise systems (preferred).
Understanding of product analytics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
