About the role
- Senior SAP Consultant leading the design and optimization of SAP PP, MM, and QE solutions. Driving client success and managing functional projects for Sonova, a hearing care provider.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions in PP, MM, and QE modules
- Drive client success by translating business requirements into robust architectures
- Govern functional SAP enhancement/new business process projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Act as a functional consultant in change request and projects, liaise with Solution Architects
- Review existing IT solutions for improvements
- Lead emergency issues resolution process with professional communication
- Manage escalation process for Project Issues, CRs, Incidents or Service Requests
- Provide level 3 support, root case analysis, and issue bundling
- Collaborate with other IT teams to solve problems
- Ensure implementation of system solutions according to GRC requirements
- Support activities of auditors and controllers; participate in recruitment of employees
Requirements
- Degree in IT engineering (Master, Bachelor or equivalent)
- Seasoned SAP ECC consultant with 10+ years of experience in PP, QE, MM modules
- Hands on experience with Ariba, MES solutions knowledge nice to have
- S4Hana/Cloud hands-on experience (also s/4HANA implementation projects)
- ITIL Experience - mainly around: Incident, problem, change, escalation management
- Able to speak “Business language” while talking IT topics
- Experience in implementing multiple business process changes in SAP & other Business Systems
- Familiar with SAP Standard Functionalities and Custom Development procedures
- Experience in organizational change / process change and how to manage transformations
- Experience with the Agile/DSDM project methodology will be an asset
- Customer focus and strong team player, ability to be flexible and self-motivated
- Excellent spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel up to 5-10% of time
