Responsibilities

  • Develop structured negotiation plans with detailed market analysis, focusing on securing the best commercial terms.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and related departments, developing procurement plans aligned with their needs and proposing innovative solutions to optimize results.
  • Monitor market trends, assessing the impact of economic, political and technological factors on procurement activities.
  • Identify, evaluate and qualify potential suppliers.
  • Assess supplier performance based on criteria such as quality, delivery and service, and implement action plans as needed.
  • Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, conditions and terms.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including financial, operational, compliance and reputational risks, by developing action plans and ensuring adherence to internal and external policies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports and analyses on procurement performance, providing strategic insights.
  • Actively participate in transformation projects, contributing to the growth of the department and the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Production/Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional experience as a Buyer.
  • Familiarity with management systems (e.g., ERP/SRM).
  • Experience with MS Excel (building spreadsheets and using advanced formulas).
  • Ability to work in a team, collaborate, share knowledge and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of e-procurement tools.
