About the role

  • BI / Analytics Engineer owning and evolving business intelligence platform for an award-winning beauty brand. Collaborating with various stakeholders to provide reliable analytics for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Domo platform: administration, user management, governance, and performance optimization.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, cards, and data applications that serve business stakeholders across departments.
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned with defined KPI standards.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for dashboard design, naming conventions, and content organization within the platform.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion workflows that bring data into Domo from source systems.
  • Monitor data jobs and ingestion schedules, investigate issues, and coordinate with data engineers to resolve failures.
  • Apply last-mile SQL transformations within Domo to shape, filter, and prepare data for dashboard consumption.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all business intelligence requests and questions from stakeholders.
  • Partner with business teams and data analysts to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions.
  • Enable self-service analytics by training business users on Domo features, dashboard navigation, and data interpretation.
  • Ensure uniform KPI definitions and calculations across all dashboards and reports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with business intelligence platforms, including dashboard development, data modeling, and pipeline management.
  • Hands-on experience with Domo strongly preferred, including platform administration and data job configuration.
  • Comfortable with SQL for querying, data validation, and last-mile transformations within a BI platform.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and familiarity with data integration methods (connectors, APIs, SFTP, cloud data platforms).
  • Experience working with ERP data (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
