About the role
- Senior Solution Engineer working with AI/ML and cloud data solutions at Snowflake. Engaging with sales teams to solve complex customer problems and implement innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers across industries
- Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
- Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them.
- Track record of linking technology initiatives and architectures to business outcomes
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a consulting and/or pre-sales environment.
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
- Deep expertise in cloud data platforms, AI/ML technologies (including LLMs, machine learning pipelines, and MLOps), data warehousing, and modern data architecture
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and/or Python, and data modeling concepts
- Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems and Snowflake’s solutions
- A curiosity and capability to quickly get up to speed with new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
