About the role

  • Senior Finance Manager building dependable finance operations in India supporting Snap's international growth. Leading team, ensuring financial control, and delivering accurate reporting to UK group.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing our future India finance team, setting clear expectations and supporting growth
  • Ensuring strong financial control across core accounting processes, close cycles, and reconciliations
  • Working with external accountants on local statutory accounting and tax matters
  • Partnering with external payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll and employment compliance
  • Delivering timely, accurate monthly reporting to the UK group
  • Managing intercompany charges and ensuring alignment with group standards
  • Acting as the primary liaison with local auditors and external advisors
  • Continuously improving finance processes, structure, and ways of working

Requirements

  • A senior finance leader responsible for building and running a dependable, well‑structured Finance operation in India that supports the Snap group’s international growth.
  • As the Snap group continues to scale globally, this role exists to establish and lead a strong, dependable finance operation in India, fully aligned to UK group standards and expectations.
  • You will play a critical role in bringing clarity, structure and ownership to a growing offshore finance function. You’ll ensure consistent, high‑quality finance delivery while creating an environment where people feel supported, developed and accountable.
  • This is a leadership role with real influence. Through building capability, strengthening controls and improving ways of working, you’ll help ensure finance is a trusted, effective partner to the wider business, locally and internationally.

  • A professional accounting qualification (or currently working towards one)
