About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for full-cycle recruitment. Engaging with HR and hiring managers to attract top talent for Smithfield Foods.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for all functional areas across multiple locations simultaneously
  • Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience through timely communication and clear feedback
  • Collaborate with department leaders and HR teams on recruitment strategies
  • Leverage various sourcing strategies to find and attract top talent
  • Research labor market trends to align sourcing strategy with current industry conditions
  • Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and improve candidate experience
  • Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidates and provide recruitment updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Proficient in computer applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and employment regulations and policies
