Responsibilities
serves as a financial planning and estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors
deliver point-in-time estate planning guidance and education or lead a more comprehensive financial and estate planning engagement
supported by a Director, Advance Planning and an Advanced Planning Analyst, supporting advanced planning client engagements
primarily use video technology to function remotely in addition to meeting clients and advisors in investor centers across the region
collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person to maintain and increase our collective impact on the clients we serve
Travel is typically expected between 5% and 20% of the time, depending on physical proximity to regional sites and investor centers
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with any of the following designations preferred: CPA, JD, M.T., LLM in taxation, CFA or CFP®
13-15+ years overall work experience with 7+ years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning or succession planning work experience within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management industry environment
FINRA Series 7 and 66 obtained within 90-days of employment
Estate Planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation knowledge (required)
Retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning preferred
Experienced in working with business owners, start-ups/Pre IPO companies a plus
Works independently and able to lead an assigned territory to drive High Net Worth client engagements
Effectively coaches, develops, and applies junior team members

Communicates complex subjects clearly and effectively
