Vice President of Advanced Planning guiding financial and estate planning for Fidelity's high-net-worth clients. Leading team engagements utilizing advanced financial tools while collaborating remotely and onsite.
Responsibilities
The Vice President, Advanced Planning is a client-facing role that serves as a financial planning and estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors.
The Advanced Planner leads a comprehensive financial and estate planning engagement leveraging various financial planning tools such as eMoney.
In addition, the role is supported by an Advanced Planning Analyst, and together as a team will support advanced planning client engagements throughout a geographic region.
We primarily use video technology to function remotely in addition to meeting clients and advisors in investor centers across the region.
Travel is typically expected between 5% and 20% of the time, depending on physical proximity to regional sites and investor centers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with any of the following designations preferred: CPA, JD, M.T., LLM in taxation, CFA or CFP®
13-15+ years overall work experience with 7+ years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning or succession planning work experience within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management industry environment
FINRA Series 7 and 66 obtained within 90-days of employment
Retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning (required)
Estate Planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation knowledge (required)
Ability to create and review financial plans using tools such as eMoney
Experienced in working with business owners, start-ups/Pre IPO companies a plus
Works independently and able to lead an assigned territory to drive High Net Worth client engagements
