About the role

  • Senior Analyst supporting the Equity Portfolio Management team at Fidelity Investments. Delivering data-driven insights and managing relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Analyst, Equity Investment Services (EQIS) at Fidelity Investments, you will play a critical role partnering with our EQIS team and cross functional partners to support the Equity Portfolio Management team.
  • Communicate effectively with many levels of management.
  • Be comfortable working with investors and have an interest in understanding the investment process.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills when faced with uncertainty or shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrate a passion for leveraging technology to deliver scalable, long-lasting solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Be creative and resourceful in responding to time-sensitive ad hoc requests.
  • Liaise and manage relationships with multiple internal groups who support Equity as well as external vendors on implementation activities.
  • Partner with the Equity management team to develop and deliver periodic and ad-hoc analytics that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and communicate program status to stakeholders of various initiatives.
  • Identify and articulate program risks and help to resolve issues as they surface.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in or working with investment operations in financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Must be highly organized, meticulous, detail oriented and can work independently
  • Effective relationship management skills across numerous strategic business partners
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Python and SQL to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver actionable data insights.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and comfortable in an environment of shifting priorities
  • Excellent judgment, issue management, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, comfortable taking the initiative, and meet deadlines independently
  • Positive attitude and 'can do' work ethic.
