Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements for investment accounting initiatives.
Analyze investment data and operational processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business needs into clear specifications for technology teams and external vendors (e.g., Clearwater Analytics).
Develop and maintain business process documentation, data flow diagrams, and reporting requirements.
Support the implementation of new investment accounting platforms by coordinating testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
Partner with accounting and technology teams to design and implement scalable, compliant, and efficient investment processes and controls.
Provide analytical support for investment-related inquiries and strategic decision-making.
Mentor and coach team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in investment accounting, financial systems implementation, or business analysis.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, investment accounting principles, and internal controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
Familiarity with alternative investments and partnership structures is a plus.
Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, InvestOne, Workiva, Power BI, Tableau).
