About the role

  • Customer Experience Engineer designing realistic test environments and supporting integration for PV systems at SMA Solar India. Collaborating with teams to validate real-world scenarios and system testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design realistic PV test and simulation environments
  • Create end-to-end scenarios that reflect real-world customer use cases
  • Support installation, commissioning, and simulation activities
  • Enable seamless hardware–software integration
  • Configure and maintain network and lab environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Experience with simulation and testing of renewable energy systems
  • Technical expertise in system and network configuration
  • Proficiency in Java and test automation tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience working in renewable energy labs or PV system R&D environments
  • Exposure to IoT platforms, cloud-based monitoring, and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with mobile app and portal configuration for energy systems
  • Experience collaborating in agile, cross-functional development teams
