Key Account/Territory Manager driving sales growth for a leading brand in natural foods. Collaborating with a high-performing team to meet promotional and sales objectives within the GTA.
Responsibilities
Develop and achieve the sales business plan for your accounts by implementing strategy, managing total trade spend by brand, forecasting and achieving agreed shelf, distribution and promotional plans with your accounts
Analyze, identify, monitor and address specific issues to achieve Silver Hill’s goals for sales, trade spend, share, distribution and operating budgets
Proactively monitor and update the customer’s overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all sales objectives versus plan
Drive pre and post promotion evaluation to increase ROI
Be accountable
Lead the implementation of internal trade marketing strategies, off-shelf display opportunities, and seasonal programs with each of the divisions
Monitor each divisions performance using sales data, market insights, and portals to track progress and make informed recommendations
Develop best practices and discipline around forecasting using all reports and trend analysis available from internal departments as well as customer POS data and customer demand planning reports
Foster strong, multi-level relationships with key contacts at all divisions and internal teams
Support the launch of new products and innovation to secure listings in each division
Represent brands including One Degree Organic Foods, Little Northern Bakehouse, Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery, The Grain Escape and Carbonaut at various trade shows
Requirements
You have strong knowledge and sales skills specific to Food and/or CPG/Food Service industry
You have the knowledge of healthy eating and lifestyle choices
You have solid sales forecasting, and strategic sales skills, with experience managing trade spend
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You have excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, MacOS, and more
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
You have 3-5 years experience as a Key Account Manager with a proven track record of delivering results within CPG
Experience directly managing Natural/Health and Wellness categories is an asset
Experience managing P&L and trade spend
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
