About the role

  • Senior Analyst for Credit Risk Monitoring at Sicredi, focusing on AI initiatives and portfolio analysis. Drive data governance, enhance credit risk assessments, and support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct recurring portfolio quality analyses (daily/monthly), identifying trends, outliers, drivers and emerging risks by segment/central office/cooperative;
  • Produce executive diagnostics and governance materials (committees, board, reports), linking risk, provisioning and results with a clear narrative;
  • Structure action-oriented studies and hypotheses (origination, pricing, collections, renegotiation), prioritizing areas of greatest materiality and impact;
  • Enhance indicators, metrics and dashboards (in partnership with BI), ensuring consistency and traceability for the area;
  • Investigate root causes of indicator deterioration (e.g., short-term delinquency, migration, renegotiation, risk mix), proposing actions and monitoring effects;
  • Support projection/stress exercises and sensitivity analyses when necessary, connecting realized readings with forward-looking scenarios;
  • Act as a technical and methodological reference in portfolio analyses, supporting peers in standardizing routines and improving delivery quality;
  • Actively contribute to the AI initiative by helping to: map priority questions, translate rules and analyses into consistent answers, define official data sources, test outputs and identify interpretation risks;
  • Apply AI tools day-to-day to increase productivity (summarization, structuring, drafts, hypothesis exploration), while maintaining governance and human validation of outputs;
  • Interact with partner areas (modeling, credit, product, finance, central offices/cooperatives) to align assumptions, validate interpretations and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related fields;
  • Strong experience (senior profile) in credit portfolio/credit risk analysis (portfolio quality, delinquency, migration, provisioning, segment-level analyses);
  • Proven ability to translate complex analyses into executive messages, with strong writing and presentation skills;
  • Proficiency with analysis tools (minimum: advanced Excel + SQL and/or Python/R for exploration/automation);
  • Data governance mindset: traceability, consistency, documentation and version control;
  • Practical experience using AI tools at work (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT or equivalents) to boost productivity, with understanding of limitations and need for validation.
