Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor credit risk models focused on expected loss (PD, EAD, LGD)
- Actively collaborate with business areas to ensure analytical solutions are integrated with credit strategies and Sicredi's objectives
- Continuously monitor model performance and recommend improvements
- Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Perform data analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Foster and disseminate a risk culture across the cooperatives
- Communicate clearly and provide technical support to internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience in statistical modeling, preferably in credit/credit risk
- Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (regressions, decision trees, machine learning techniques, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and sharp logical reasoning
- Experience with programming languages (SAS, R, Python, SQL, or others)
- Ability to communicate technical results clearly and concisely to non-specialist audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel)
- **Preferred qualifications**
- Knowledge or practical experience with IFRS 9 modeling and provisioning (PD, EAD, LGD)
- Experience in the financial sector or credit cooperatives
- Experience with complex data environments.
