About the role
- VP of Physical Production managing show budgets and logistical operations for scripted and unscripted series at Shondaland. Overseeing pre-production through delivery with a focus on creativity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage show budgets, administrative operations, and logistical coordination from pre-production through delivery.
- Ensure production remains on schedule and under budget without compromising the creative integrity of the show.
- Collaborate and work in sync with internal teams at Shondaland, as well as external counterparts.
- Oversee the day-to-day physical production of scripted and unscripted series, documentaries, and feature films.
- Provide clear and positive leadership and growth-focused mentorship to the Physical Production Team.
Requirements
- Experience as a line producer or unit production manager is required.
- Experience working in creative development is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience as a leader in production management in the field or at a network level for scripted series.
- Tech savvy; must learn new software quickly and easily; mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting.
