About the role

Responsibilities
- Write and edit documentation for a wide range of franchise business audiences
- Write, rewrite, and/or edit documentation for a variety of projects and purposes
- Work with subject matter experts and team members to ensure clear communication
- Analyze feedback provided by clients and improve content accordingly
- Review published materials and recommend revisions in scope and content
- Provide quality assurance by reviewing documents for coherence and style
- Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Edit or make changes to material prepared by other writers
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work utilizing project management tools
Requirements
- Communicating effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Solid organizational and detail-oriented expertise
- Ability to handle numerous projects at one time
- Experience in financial lending would be helpful
- Intermediate level knowledge of content management systems (MadCap Flare preferred)
- Intermediate level knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Intermediate-Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Exposure/Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence would be helpful
- Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Technical Writing, strongly preferred
