About the role
- Manager Travel coordinating travel logistics for artists and crews in live entertainment. Overseeing all aspects of travel arrangements including flights, transfers, and accommodation management.
Responsibilities
- Planning and booking arrivals and departures for artists and crews
- Ensuring smooth transfers between tour/engagement locations (group bookings for flights, trains, shuttles, etc.)
- Booking and managing hotel accommodation during tours and engagements
- Coordinating requirements and details with productions
- Managing and controlling budgets
- Negotiating annual and framework agreements with airlines and hotels (large allotments/contingents)
- Booking travel for executive management and colleagues
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for live entertainment
- Degree and/or vocational training in tourism/travel
- Experience booking travel and accommodation in a travel agency, ideally in the show business/entertainment industry
- Experience working with productions/companies and artists
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken (German at least C1); additional languages advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Familiarity with Amadeus is a plus
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends in case of logistical emergencies or problem situations
