About the role

  • Project Manager (m/f/d) for CAFM system at Grün Berlin, enhancing facility management processes and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the entire CAFM lifecycle: further development, data migration (strategy), development of import and export routines, data maintenance, and program-specific administration.
  • Advising and supporting implementation and usage, continuous review and optimization, and error analysis in the production environment in collaboration with the IT service provider and the relevant departments.
  • Together with the Technical Facility Management division, analyze existing business processes and define functional and technical requirements for the CAFM system to manage technical equipment, buildings, and outdoor facilities.
  • Prepare concepts, process diagrams, and decision papers for internal coordination and for the external IT service provider.
  • Coordinate and manage technical implementation and carry out CAFM subprojects, taking into account relevant standards (e.g., DIN 276, DIN 277).
  • Ensure timely delivery while meeting quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Plan and conduct training for end users.
  • Create application and process documentation.
  • Administer a system-based warranty/defects tracking for construction projects using integrated CAFM functionalities (module extension).
  • Support the Geoinformation & Data Management team in the area of a digital playground equipment register, including administration of mobile inspections.
  • Steer the structured onboarding of assets and properties into the digital system environment.
  • By integrating and maintaining spatial data (e.g., buildings, areas, infrastructure).

Requirements

  • A completed degree or vocational training related to Facility Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification (experience in geospatial data management is a plus).
  • Solid experience in the use and implementation of CAFM systems.
  • Experience in delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in maintenance of buildings, technical equipment and outdoor facilities.
  • Knowledge of CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD) is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge and experience working with specialist databases and cadastres/asset registers.
  • Experience in the public sector or municipal environment.
  • Negotiation-level German (written and spoken) / business-fluent German.
  • Focused, structured, and reliable working style.
