About the role

  • UX Designer at Selerix designing intuitive user experiences. Collaborating with product teams to deliver high-quality designs and maintain a design system.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior UX Designer to plan and execute UX work across multiple projects.
  • Design wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Build and manage complex, reusable components following Figma best practices (auto layout, variants, shared libraries).
  • Contribute to and help maintain our design system, including:
  • Component libraries
  • Branding colors
  • Typography standards
  • Layout, spacing, and usage guidelines
  • Assist in evolving the design system as product needs grow and change
  • Translate product requirements and existing workflows into clear, user-centered design solutions
  • Review and analyze legacy Adobe XD prototypes to understand existing user flows during our transition to Figma
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Participate in design reviews, critiques, and iterative improvements
  • Ensure designs are usable, consistent, and ready for efficient development handoff
  • Support the transition of legacy designs from Adobe XD to Figma
  • Help scale, refine, and document our design system.
  • Design new features and improve existing user flows
  • Producing consistent, high-quality, developer-ready designs in partnership with engineering.

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a UX or Product Designer
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including:
  • Component creation and maintenance
  • Auto layout and variants
  • Shared libraries and design system organization
  • Experience working within or contributing to design system organization
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture
  • Experience creating both wireframes and polished design prototypes
  • Ability to break down complex UI problems into clear, usable solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD, especially for reviewing and navigating existing prototypes
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Exposure to Team Foundation Services (TFS) or similar project management tools
  • Understanding of accessibility best practices
  • Experience collaborating closely with developers
  • Interest in and encouraged use of AI-assisted design and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude to support research, ideation, documentation, and design workflows.
