Responsibilities
Part of the dedicated DevOps team
Orchestrate releases in close coordination with the Service Owner
Create, maintain and communicate the release plan
Act as the interface between development teams, software vendors and the DevOps team
Coordinate requirements and findings with vendors
Plan updates and patches
Maintain close contact with the quality team and the test manager as the final quality gate before each release
Own and optimize the release process in collaboration with stakeholders
Requirements
Degree in a STEM field or an equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of experience in an IT environment, ideally in release management, DevOps or software development
Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework (at least Foundation certification, preferably advanced)
Enjoy surveying complex contexts and managing them in a structured way
Experience with common collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Strong communication skills and team spirit; customer-oriented approach
Good German language skills, both written and spoken
