About the role
- Release Manager orchestrating software deployments in a DevOps team at Creditreform. Ensuring quality and efficiency in releases for innovative economic information services in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Part of the dedicated DevOps team
- Orchestration of releases in close coordination with the Service Owner
- Creation, maintenance and communication of the release schedule, including consideration of dependencies and SLAs
- Interface between development teams, software vendors and the DevOps team
- Coordination of requirements and findings with vendors as well as planning updates and patches
- Collaboration with the quality team and test manager as the final quality gate before each release
- Continuous optimization of the release process in cooperation with all stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM field or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT environment, ideally in release management, DevOps or software development
- Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework (at least Foundation certification, preferably advanced)
- Enjoy working with complex contexts and structured coordination
- Experience with common collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Good written and spoken German
