About the role

  • Project Manager managing Civil Construction Projects for Ed Seguin & Sons in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Civil Construction Projects, including schedule, financial, resource and change management
  • Work with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, Vendors, Subcontractors, Owners, Consultants and Stakeholders to deliver projects safely on-time and on-budget
  • Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, and submissions
  • Identify project hazards and provide recommendations for success
  • Manage Budgets, Commitments, Prime Contracts, RFI’s, Change Events and Change Orders
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Approve direct report timesheets and manage project financials

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of civil construction project management experience
  • Professional designations such as C.E.T., P. Eng, PMP are considered an asset
  • Experience with Procore, MS Office Suite including Project, Excel, Word and 365 interfaces are considered assets
  • Graduation from a 3 year College Program or University Degree and/or related industry specific experience
  • Good knowledge of construction regulations
