Installation Technician providing services on security system products at customer locations. Overseeing subcontractor teams and resolving post-installation issues.
Responsibilities
Provide service on ST products at customer sites.
Responsible for customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment.
Direct oversight of the subcontractor team to assure adherence to scope and specification.
Communicates at all levels, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
Maintain company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies.
Attends and completes training programs as requested.
Inspects installation methods and techniques according to specifications.
Requirements
vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering
Security hardware understanding
System architecture knowledge
General Construction Knowledge including safety mindedness.
Ability to read and digest significant specifications and best practices
General MS Office proficiency including: Email, creating meetings, drafting reports and updates
Excel, creating tracking lists, documents, checklists, and operating existing extensive Excel database of project controls.
Word, creating narratives and write-ups on conditions, marking up and modifying existing documents.
Familiarity with contractor controls software, web-based, such as Egnyte, ProCore etc.
